RYA Powerboat Level 1
Powerboat Level 1 is an introduction to the basics of handling a powerboat. It is designed for complete beginners and provides the foundation skills and confidence needed to safely operate a small powerboat under instruction.
The course covers basic boat handling, starting and stopping, steering, slow speed manoeuvring, coming alongside and leaving a berth, and an introduction to safety and seamanship.
Our modern and well equipped RIB is the perfect vessel to learn and practise in, giving you a fun, practical introduction to powerboating in comfort and style.

Launch and recovery (8-11 year olds to observe)

Picking up and securing to a mooring buoy
