RYA Cruising Instructor
The RYA Cruising Instructor course is the qualification you need to start teaching RYA courses. It is the entry level for instructors in the RYA Cruising Scheme.
Onboard our comfortable and very well looked after yacht you will spend 5 days learning and understanding the art of teaching, giving you the ability to use your prior experience and knowledge to be able to teach up to the level of Day Skipper practical. It is the first step to your teaching career and leads you to being able to undertake the Yactmaster Instructor course.

Certificate valid for:

Five years, after which candidates will need to attend a RYA Cruising Instructor revalidation. Revalidation is carried out over one day on the water.
