Just completed the competent crew course with Salty sailing, an awesome experience. Far exceeded expectations! A huge amount was learnt in such a short time, the trust given which allowed myself and others to have such a ‘hands on‘ time aboard made it all the better. Great course! Great boat! Great people! Had the most amazing time with Hugo & Salty Sailing. We were a complete bunch of novices & Hugo was very patient and answered all our questions. We had a beautiful day, the boat was gorgeous & highly recommend Salty Sailing. We did a day charter for a 40th Birthday and all had the best time.

Superb..!!! Such a great way to sail. I've used Salty Sailing for RYA Yachtmaster courses, Corporate Days-out and Private Charters. Always an excellent experience. Hugo and the Team have such a wealth of experience and knowledge, and they're happy to pass that on you whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced sailor. Highly recommend.

We chartered the boat for a day trip to celebrate a birthday – it was a great day out. Lunch was in a beautiful spot (Newton Creek). Hugo was relaxed, friendly, and happy to let our children help out on the boat, which they loved. A fantastic experience all around – we're recommending it to our friends!

Just completed the competent crew course and couldn’t recommend it enough! They offer a very personable experience, you’re not just another number. I felt completely at ease the whole week, learning lots but also having lots of laughs and fun. Overall a brill experience!!

Learning with Salty was an absolute pleasure — relaxed, informative and a lot of fun. The boat was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and we stopped at some fantastic moorings along the way. It felt more like a learning holiday than a course. Highly recommended — get on board!

Fantastic week doing my Day Skipper Practical on Salty's All Women's course with Cherie instructing. It's taken me three years to progress from the theory course I took with another school, so I was a little rusty in places but Cherie was both patient and encouraging. She gave crystal clear guidance and inspired confidence in all four of us trainees. In late March, we had a huge mix of conditions from fog to light winds but we managed an overnight stay in Yarmouth and a night sail from Hamble to Cowes on top of brushing up our MOB procedure, jibing, tacking and anchoring skills; all very useful and productive. On top of that, it was a hugely enjoyable week and I felt inspired and ready for the new sailing season. I'll definitely be back for more! Thanks Salty Sailing ⛵️
