The Salty Logbook

THE SALTY LOGBOOK

What a fantastic start to the Summer!

A majestic sailing yacht gliding through the sparkling Solent waters at sunset.

The summer season is well underway at Salty Sailing!

The summer season is now well underway here at Salty Sailing, and what a fantastic start it has been. We've welcomed lots of new faces onboard, helped many students achieve their RYA qualifications, and enjoyed some brilliant sailing conditions across the Solent.

The longer days and warm weather have made for some memorable trips, whether it's been first time sailors discovering a new passion, experienced sailors building confidence, or private charter guests simply enjoying time out on the water.

As always, we'd like to thank everyone who has chosen to sail with us this season. Your support means a great deal, and we look forward to welcoming many more of you onboard over the coming months.

In this newsletter you'll find our latest course availability, upcoming adventures, special offers, and a few highlights from what's been happening at Salty Sailing.

Highlights

Training with the RNLI

We joined up with Cowes RNLI for some towing and casualty care training.  A great learning experience for our yachtmaster candidates.

Womens Only

In May, we ran back to back women only courses, demonstrating just how popular they have become.

We always strive to create a welcoming and supportive environment on all of our courses, and our women only courses provide an excellent opportunity to learn, build confidence and develop your skills in a relaxed setting alongside other women.

🚨 NEW OPPORTUNITY 🚨

Sail around the Isle of Wight

Join us for three days on the water as we cruise around the Island, build your miles, and explore the stunning south coast.

We’ll get up close to 📍St Catherine’s Lighthouse, Ventnor, and Freshwater Bay, with plenty of incredible coastal scenery along the way.

(Subject to fair weather 🤷‍♂️)

Our itinerary will be shaped by the tides and weather, but possible overnight stops include Seaview, Gunwharf Quays, Alum Bay, Yarmouth, and Lymington.

£550 per person

This includes: Food when onboard, berthing fees and all running costs. 🎉⛵️
